Left Laparoscopic Radical Nephrectomy

This surgical illustration piece breaks down a left laparoscopic radical nephrectomy procedure into 5 key steps. In this minimally invasive procedure, the entire left kidney is dissected and removed from the body. I had the opportunity to see this surgery and create rough sketches while in the operating room; after additional supplementary research, I transformed those sketches into surgical step illustrations.
